As a way of supporting both young men and women in the Urugerero program in Ngororero sector of Ngororero District, students for the Independent University of Kigali (ULK) did community work with the youth on Wednesday 13th.March.2013.

The special community work was also attended by residents of Kazabe and Rususa cells and roads were created on the area where the settlement village will be built in Kazabe cell.
Aimable Dusengimana who is in charge of development in Rususa cell who was in this community work says the main goal of this work was to show support to the youth on Urugerero program in their plans to develop the country.
Etienne Habiyakare The executive secretary of Ngororero sector thanked the students of ULK who were present for supporting the development of this community and asked them to keep being exemplary to the youth who look up to them for guidance.
Goats given to 20 poorest families
The ULK students also gave out 20 goats to 20 families to the poorest families in Rususa and Kazabe cells. The goats were given as a contribution to the local people in their poverty eradication programs.
ULK students asked the youth on Urugerero program to work courageously and make use of the chance they have as pioneers of this program and to write good history that will be taken over by the upcoming generations.
