Students in the higher institutions of learning and Universities play a big role in the development of Musanze district through the courses they learn says the students’ union in the Institute of Higher Education in Musanze district (INES) Ruhengeri.

This was said by Richard Nteziryayo the president of the students Union in Ines on the Saturday the 12th.Jan.2013 during the swearing in ceremony of the new guild council for this academic year.
The president of the students’ union explained that students have the capabilities of using their studies and play a role in the development of Musanze district as well as private entrepreneurs and partners in development who develop the district.
Vincent Hakorimana the bishop of Ruhengeri diocese in the Catholic Church asked students of INES to work together towards the development of their institution, the district it is located in and the country since they are the future of the country.
The Students’ Union of INES has been around for not more than 10 years, its responsibilities include advocating for students, encouraging good relationship with other institutions of higher learning whether private or government institutions or universities and to develop their district.
