The aim of the training was to teach youth good leadership depending on the Bible, and also how to fight family related problems as they are the future leaders of the country.
Dr. Agée Shyaka Mugabe a lecturer in the National university of Rwanda told the youths that “they were the strength of the country, and also advised them to use every opportunity available to put what they learnt into practice since whatever happened in Rwanda was done by the youths of the time”.
He added on saying that “they were supposed to fight the family wrangles that that may arise in families as the future leaders of the nation”.
The director of the Bible society of Rwanda Dalius Kakiriho the one that gave out the training to the youths told the youths that “they were supposed to change the people and also the youths as a whole teaching them on the programmes of the government since a good Christian is supposed to know all the programmes of the government”.
He again remained the trainees saying that “they were many people who would wish to get the trainings they got and therefore advised them to implement what they learnt from the training”.
Rogers Gateta a student from Kigali institute of science and technology [KIST] said that “they had been taught a lot of things, like how to solve family wrangles, and also the way they should handle themselves through any problem they may face like youths”.
Justine Mukobwa another student from Kigali institute of education also said that “they were going to change Rwandans through what they had learnt from the training, since they found out that Rwandan lacked a lot in solving family problems before taking them to the security leaders”.
She added on saying that “Rwandans needed to know how to handle wrangles be it in their families, at work, and anywhere else”.
These trainings are organized by the Rwandan Bible society in an aim to develop the future leaders were they bring together the youths from different universities, colleges and institutions.
