Kibogora Polytechnic School has been opened recently in Nyamasheke district, an activity that was accompanied by a concert to thank the local governments for the permission to open this school in the after a long period of time waiting for this permission; the commencement was on Monday 15th.Sept.2012.
Josue Michel Ntaganira the chairperson of the association for parents in Methodist Church who started this Polytechnic and Professor David Hamblin the rector of this school promised to ensure quality education they were asked to deliver.
Hon. Marie Josée Kankera the vice president in the Parliament who attended this concert asked this school administration to work hard and keep developing the district and the country in general.
Jean Baptiste Habyarimana the mayor of Nyamasheke district said that this school came as a solution and it holds people’s expectations on knowledge and it will be the basis of change for the better for all residents of the district.
Kibogora Polytechnic opened for education on the 31st.Aug.2012 and it has 2 faculties of nursing and midwifery and this function was to officially inaugurate the school and get to know each other as Josue Michel Ntaganira explained.
